SPRING VALLEY, Minn. – A man was found dead of a gunshot wound in a field near a burning trailer house south of Spring Valley near Mystery Cave park. Fire crews from Soring Valley and Wykoff who found the body were responding to a call about an explosion and fire in the 17000 rural block of 155th Avenue around 6:30 a.m. They didn’t find he body right away. An ambulance was called from Spring Valley about 8:45. The man had a gunshot wound to the chest. Neighbors reported there had been loud sounds like exploding ammunition.
