ROCHESTER, Minn. – A St. Charles man accused of child sex abuse changed his plea to guilty. In a plea deal Sean Eckoldt, 30, admitted to one of three counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct.  Two other counts were dismissed. A trial had been scheduled for next week, but now Eckoldt’s next time in court will be June 1 for sentencing. Eckoldt was accused of abusing a girl beginning when she was 6. The incidents were at homess in Rochester and nearby Marion Township. At the time Eckoldt was on probation for a previous child sex abuse conviction In the previous case, in 2013, it was sex with a 13-year-old girl.
