WINONA, Minn. — Saint Mary’s University entered an agreement with Viterbo University of La Crosse to articulate certain academic offerings for students to amass credits seamlessly from both colleges. Saint Mary’s students will recognize six credits of advanced standing toward its 36-credit master’s program in business intelligence and data analytics from undergrad Viterbo programs in accounting, business administration, finance, health care and wellness management, marketing, sport management and leadership, computer science, engineering, and psychology. Also, students completing a Saint Mary’s degree will be able to accelerate completion of the Viterbo master’s program in Servant Leadership by enrolling in six credits of graduate coursework that counts simultaneously toward both master’s and bachelor’s degrees. Two other provisions:
> Saint Mary’s will make its certificate in Project Management available to Viterbo graduates.
>Viterbo will make its certificate in Ethical Leadership available to Saint Mary’s graduates.
In a joint announcement, the presidents of both universities noted that they share Catholic values and share a mission of transformative education.
