WASHINGTON – A former trade and technology dean at Minnesota State College Southeast in Winona, Travis Thul, has been named a White House Fellow assigned to the U.S. Export-Import Bank. Thul will work on opportunities in China trade. At Southeast Tech he took on projects in rural advanced manufacturing infrastructure. He also designed a bicycle design and fabrication degree. Also he raised funds for an automation lab, a welding lab, and what’s called “maker space.”

Thul. Holds doctorate in engineering from George Washington University.
