RUSHFORD, Minn. – Police Chief Adam Eide confirmed that an officer fired his weapon in taking a man into custody at a house on rural Airport Road. No one was wounded. Eide has reported the incident the state Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, which will send agents to investigate, as is routine for officer-involved shootings. Eide declined to go into detail. Besidea Eide, the city has four officers – Nathan Klinski and Darin Daveau, who are full time, and Cale Stensgard and Thomas Mensing, who are part time.
