- PAUL, Minn. — The Minnesota Department of Health reported a record 67 single-day deaths from coronavirus infections. Of the deaths, 51 were in long-term care or assisted living facilities. The previous record of 56 deaths in a single day was a week earlier. So far in the pandemic, 3,010 people have died from the virus in Minnesota, the agency said.
