ROCHESTER, Minn. — A Rochester woman was hurt seriously when her car was struck by another motorist who was trying to beat a red light. Patricia Zummach, 65, was going south on North Broadway when she sped up to beat the changing light at 48th Street, a deputy said. Her estimated speed: 70 mph. The driver of the other car, Sheila Franck, 52, had to be cut from the wreckage. A passenger, Eric Franck, 52, suffered minor injuries. Zummach also suffered minor injuries. The wreck happened around 12:45 p.m.
