WINONA, Minn. – The Winona Film Society scheduled three films in its October foreign series:
> “The Farewell.” A 2019 Chinese family comedy-drama by Lulu Wang. Nominated for two Golden Globe awards, including best foreign language film. Bilingual in English and Mandarin. October 1 and 2.
> “Glory.” A 2016 Bulgarian thriller by Kristina Grozeva and Peter Valchanov. Honors include special mention at the Lucarno Film Festival. Bulgarian with English subtitles. October 15 and 16.
> “Not One Less.” A 1999 drama by Zhang Yamou. Honors include Lanterna Magica Award at Venice Film Festival. Mandarin with English dubbing. October 29 and 30.
