LANESBORO, Minn. – The socially and politically outspoken Twin Cities rock band Kiss the Tiger will open the Rhythms on the Root summer line-up July 9. Later concerts, all at Gateway Park, in Lanesboro:

The sponsoring Lanesboro Arts called the series a bill rich in bluegrass, soul and indie rock. Performances at 6 p.m. Tickets: $15. Bring a blanket.
