WINONA, Minn. — A Caledonia driver was stopped without headlamps about 12:30 a.m. and acted and smelled drunk, police asid. Michael Robert Colleran, age 20, was arrested and held on a complaint of underage alcohol consumption. A further charge followed when a jailhouse breath test showed his blood was running alcohol more than 2-1/2 times the legal limit — 0.21%. A second charge of drunken driving was added to the complaint. The traffic stop was near Broadway and Main streets. Colleran’s speech was slurred and his movements jerky and unsure, police said.
