BYRON, Minn. – After more reports of a stranger approaching young girls, the sheriff’s office issued an advisory. The girls’ descriptions of the man seemed to coincide, said sheriff’s Captain Scott Behrns: Mixed race, light skin, slim, in his 20s with dreadlocks or braids. His car was described as a dark sedan in the new incidents:

> An 11-year-old girl at Brook Lawn Park on the North Side said a man asked how she was doing. She proceeded home. This was about 7:30 p.m., Wednesday – the day after the first incident.

> Two 13-year-old girls, one from Byron, the other from Rochester, said they were walking in the 300 block of Ninth Avenue abut 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, when a man in a car stopped and asked if they wanted a ride. They said no. The man drove by slowly two more times, they said.

> Another incident was reported around 6:30 p.m. Thursday.

Behrns asked residents in the area who have porch cameras to check for anything suspicious.
