KELLOGG, Minn. – A woman driver and child were injured but apparently not seriously while crossing the oncoming lane on Highway 61 to go into Kellogg. Ann Marie Stal, 39, of Ontario ,Wisconsin, and Nindaaabis Bellcourt, 8, also of Ontario, were taken to hospitals with non-life threatening injuries, deputies said. They were southbound in a 2011 Chevrolet Traverse on Highway 61. A 2008 Hundai Sonata, driven by Alex Jeffrey Johnson, 20, of Burnsville, was northbound and crashed into the Traverse. Deputies said Johnson was not hurt. The accident was about 3:20 p.m.
