BROWNSVILLE, Minn. – Two men died, one from Brownsville and one from LaCrosse, when their cars collided on Highway 26 near the Iowa border. Both Alan Eldor Wunnecka, 60, of Brownville, and James Paul Adducci, 42, of LaCrosse, were dead n the wreckage when police srrived. The accident was about 3:50 p.m. Wunnecka, in a 2005 Chevrolet Classic, was northbound toward Brownsville. Adducci, in a 2003 Infiniti G35, was southbound toward Iowa. The cars collided in the northbound lane, police said. The pavement: dry.
