CHATFIELD, Minn. – Two Iowa City people were injured when two vehicles collided seven miles west of Chatfield on U.S. 30. Khadiga Gab Elrab Dafa Alla, 55, and Sarah Khalifa Safi, 12, were taken to a Rochester hospital with non-life threatening injuries, the State Patrol said. They were northbound on County Road 1 in a 2005 Toyota Sienna. Two Chatfield people were eastbound on U.S. 30. Neither Keri Lynn Plude, 38, nor Hayley Madonna Plude, 7, was injured, They were in a 2006 Buick Rendezvous. The accident was about 5:50 p.m.
