WINONA, Minn. – Forty-four new positive cases of COVID-19 were reported at Winona State University in its weekly update for a current total of 55 active positive cases. The number of new cases was an increase from the previous week’s data, which had 14 new positive cases and a total of 32 active positive cases. Despite increase the university remained within the parameters indicated by the yellow Campus Safety Level 2. The total number of students on-campus and off-campus in quarantining stood at 89 in the new report, with those isolating at 83.
