LACROSSE, Wis. – Of 24 theater degree programs ranked in Wisconsin, UW-LaCrosse and Vitbero were put at eighth and ninth by measures that many high school students consider in choosing a college. The ranking, by the site universities.com, was built on data as well as student surveys, college graduate interviews, and editorial reviews.

> Marquette: 15:1; tuition, high; 11,500; two programs; 14 grads.

> Carthage: 14:1; tuition, high; 2,900; two programs; 14 grads.

> UW-Whitewater: 25-1; tuition, low; 12,400; 16 grads.

> Carroll: 17:1; tuition, high; 3,500; three grads.

> Edgewood: 13:1; high; 2,700; four grads.

> Lakeland: 28:1; high; 3,700.

> UW-LaCrosse: 20:1; tuition, moderate; 10,500; two programs; 17 grads.

>Viterbo: 15:1; tuition, high; 2,700; two programs; five grads.
