HOLLYWOOD – Gory but imaginative, drag performer Utica Queen strapped herself in beads for a runway traipse as a bloody bride and survived another episode of the Ru Paul Drag Race. She made the cut-off for next week’s sequel. The competition’s assigned theme: An outfit made of beads. Utica chose a wedding gown of sorts, a swirling trail dripping in pinkish and weirdly playful reds. She held a white rose, contrasting the occasion of the wedding with the fresh death. She called herself both the bloody bride and the bloody widow.
