WINONA, Minn. – The Arctic air that settled over the Coulee region the past week has been displaced by a moderating front from the west. Highs for Monday were forecast in the upper 30s to near 40 and a bit warmer Tuesday. A few light rain or snow showers were predicted for Monday night and again Tuesday night but nothing significant. A winter weather advisory posted Sunday for south-central Minnesota and much of Iowa expired with two to five inches of heavy wet new snow, more south of I-90, less north.
