WINONA Minn. – Two Winona women were injured critically when their minivan crashed into a ditch on U.S. Highway 61 near El Patron Mexican restaurant and overturned. Jacqueline Louise, Klees, 71, the driver, was airlifted to the Gundersen trauma center in LaCrosse, and Amanda Kay Fast, 38, to the St. Marys trauma center in Rochester. Their conditions both were described as life-threatening. They were southbound in a 2008 Chevrolet Uplander just short of Clarks Lane.
