WABSAHA, Minn. – A car-motorcycle crash closed the interstate bridge across the Mississippi River. Details were not available immediately. The accident was at mid-afternoon on the Wisconsin side – on the Wabasha-bound run-up to the bridge.

The John Weeks bridge is the only highway crossing of the Mississippi River on a 60-mile stretch between Winona and Red Wing. The bridge links Wabasha and Nelson.
