MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin attorney general, Josh Kaul, issued a warning against intimidating voters and threatening election workers. It’s against the law, Kaul said. The warning came amid persistent noises from unhappy Trump supporters about mobizing for the 2022 election. These, Kaul said, are among illegal election activities that will be prosecuted:
> Threatening violence verbally.
> Confronting voters or election officials while wearing military-style or official-looking uniforms.
> Brandishing firearms at polling places.
> Approaching voters aggressively in their cars or writing down license plate numbers.
> Following voters at polling places.
> Appearing to patrol voting lines while armed.
> Engaging in disorderly behavior in or near a polling place.
> Preventing access to a polling places with threats or intimidating behavior.
