SARATOGA, Minn. — Police who were first to arrive at a small barn fire used hand-held extinguishers to put out the fire. This was about 1:25 p.m. in the 28000 block of State Highway 74 between Saratoga and St. Charles. There were no injuries.No animals were lost. Firefighters ventilated the barn. The fire was blamed on a light fixture that ignited straw.
