ROCHESTER, Minn. – Alternate plans for the former Sneca Foods plant, site of the hard-to-,iss corncob water tower, are being developed by a county contractor. The Olmsted County Board bought the 11-acre site in 2019 for $5.6 million and tore down the abandoned canning plant. Exploring options is the company Rochester Area Economic Development Inc. Options include expanding Soldiers Field fairgrounds and new housing.
