MINNEAPOLIS — A 9-year-old boy vanished in the baggage check-in area at the Minneapolis airport. Nobody saw where. Could he have hopped a ride on the conveyor belt carrying bags through a three-foot portal into the bowels of the airport? Yes. Five minutes later the lad was found unhurt among hundreds of bags being sorted behind the scene. Just another day at the carnival fun house.
