UCare recognizes how health services measured
WINONA, Minn. – The Winona Health hospital and clinic was recognized again for continuing innovations in preventive care, disease management, behavioral health, maternity care, care transitions and medication management. The recognition was from the UCare prepaid medical assistance program and Minnesota Care at UCare’s annual “Salute to Excellence” event. Winona Health was an early innovator in developing methods to improve patient outcomes through transitioning to a value-based healthcare model.
