WINONA, Minn.—The Winona hospital is expanding its mobile check-in option for scheduled appointments in several departments. The system was introduced for emergency and urgent care earlier this year. Tina Glenzinski, director of primary-care clinics, said the system now has been fine-tuned for additional areas, offering for new efficiencies and less patient paperwork on arrival. Patients self-register ahead of time with a computer, tablet or smartphone. Manual check-in remains available, Glenzinski said.
