WINONA, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Health reported a new COVID death in Winona County. The person was in the early 90s. So far in December the county has had 12 deaths from the disease — the most of any month during the pandemic. In all, there have been 42 deaths. There were 10 new cases, the lowest daily count since October. The cases since the count began: 3,380.
