WINONA, Minn. – Police again cautioned against pick-up basketball games because of coronavirus dangers. The warning came in the wake of a virus outbreak in Lewiston that involved impromptu teen-age basketball. The Winona police community liaison officer, Bridger Klinger, said the city’s Parks Department may remove hoops if social distancing and mask orders continue to be flaunted. Police issued a similar warning in April.
