WINONA, Minn. — A dairy industry organization, Midwest Dairy, recognized the Winona Schools nutrition staff for feeding students during the COVID-19 pandemic. Since March the staff has handed out hundreds of thousands of free meals to students, no matter whether they attend a district school or not. Michelle Woodard, co-owner of Woodard’s Never Dull Dairy in Winona, nominated the staff for the recognition.
