WINONA, Minn. – Despite eight new Co-Vid infections, Winona schools will stick with the plan as revised in January to shift toward in-class learning. Spokesperson John Casper said the model, which de-emphasizes online learning, complies with state and local Co-Vid protocols. “The virus is still here,” Casper said in a KWNO radio interview. “It’s still an issue, but it’s not like we are in panic mode or anything like that.” Casper said. “We’re really confident in our strategies because they’ve done a good job since we’ve started bringing our students back.”
