WINONA Minn. — Winona State University has installed two new electric car charging stations in the Kryzsko Commons parking lot at 250 West 10th Street. The campus sustainability director, Nathan Engstrom, said the stations are a step toward a carbon neutral society. The charging stations are free for students. Faculty and staff will be receiving a reduced fee of 10 cents per kilowatt hour. Public users will be charged a $1 connection fee plus 10 cents kilowatt hour. The university received grants for the project from Student Green program.
