WINONA Minn.— In a budget-cutting move, Winona State University has turned its campus bookstore over to a vendor. The inventory is being liquidated with heavy discounts. Soon the Barnes & Noble bookstore chain will move in its own staff and merchandise. Scott Ellinghuysen, the university’s finance vice president, said that he hoped the university’s bookstore staff can be shifted to other jobs on campus.
