WINONA, Minn. — Winona State University is amenable to a land swap to allow Kwik Trip to relocate its Huff and Sarnia store on the university’s 200-car parking lot across the street. University President Scott Olson said that student parking could be moved to the current KwikTrip site as soon as the current shop is razed. The new parking space would accommodate only about 120 cars, but Olson said that wouldn’t be a problem: “We are a smaller institution than we were 10 years ago.” Also on the upside, he said, the new lot would mean that students wouldn’t need to walk across Sarnia to get to campus.
