WINONA. Minn. — Almost 100 pounds of old prescriptions and drugs were donated in the Winona County Alliance for Substance Abuse Prevention’s October take-back drive to keep them out of circulation. They will be destroyed. In all, the Alliance said, 32 people stopped off old or unused medicine. About 70% of participants said it was their first time.
