WINONA, Minn. – A Winona driver was arrested on a tentative charge of driving while intoxicated and also refusing to allow police to test his breath for blood-alcohol content. Danny Daniel Perez Perez, 38, was stopped at Wabasha and St. Charles streets for crossing the centerline and having a suspendedoobject from his rearview mirror. According to the arresting officer, Perez Perez had an odor of alcohol and also bloodshot and  watery eyes. Then, said the officer, he failed field sobriety tests. Blood was later drawn under protest for the state crime lab to test for drunkenness.
