ST. PAUL, Minn. – The State Legislature convenes Monday in another special session to address a COVID aid package proposed by Governor Tim Walz. The package is expected to provide $350 million to $400 million plus perhaps extended unemployment benefits. Legislators will also need to decide whether to extend the governor’s COVID emergency powers another 30 days.
