WINONA, Minn. – Of the first 800 CoVid vaccinations in Winona, three people had minor, short-lived side effects, said Winona Health chief executive Rachelle Schultz. In an interview with radio station KWNO she said that some reaction is expected. “It’s doing the triggering response that is expected,” she said. Side effects, she said, are more common after the booster shot. About half of the people experienced a side effect after getting their second dose, like brief body aches, fever, fatigue, and light-headedness, Shultz said. Side effects were observed immediately after the inoculation in a 15-minute monitoring period. People returned to work as soon as their symptoms subsided, Schultz said.
