WASHINGTON — Dominion Voting Systems filed a $1.3 billion defamation claim against MyPillow founder Mike Lindell. Domnion says Lindell, of Chaska, Minnesota, falsely accused the company of rigging the presidential election. The lawsuit says that Lindell ignored repeated warnings from Dominion. The company, which manufactures widely used voting machines, also has sued two lawyers for President Trump — Rudolph Giuliani and Sidney Powell, who disparaged Dominion in repeated claims that its machines were rigged against Trump in the November 2020 election. Lindell, a fervid Trump supporter who endorsed numerous Trump conspiracy theories, has said he wants to run for governor of Minnesota.
