WINONA, Minn. — Richard “Rich” Eugene Hemker, 81, of Winona, who owned the Witoka Tavern and later J&H Rubbish and Hemker Transport hauling logs and grain, died at home overlooking the family farm. He was a trucker most of his life, beginning as a teenager hauling milk. He was in the U.S. Army in Germany. He camped for 25 years at Money Creek.
