ROCHESTER, Minn. – A St. Charles man with a previous child sex abuse conviction in Winona County was sentenced in an Olmsted County case to 15 years in prison. Sean Eckoldt, 30, had pleaded guilty in March to first-degree criminal sexual conduct. The charge asserted three years of sex with a girl beginning when she was 6. The abuse occurred at residences in Rochester and nearby Marion Township. Through a a plea agreement, two other first-degree charges and 10 felony child pornography were dropped. In the earlier Winona County case, Eckoldt was convicted of sex with a 13-year-old girl in 2013. He was given a stayed prison sentence.
