HAYWARD, Wis. – Authorities called off the search for missing Arcadia Fire Chef Halversen after his pickup truck was found in a remote area near Hayward. Sheriff Doug Mrotek said a body was in the truck. The sheriff said a positive identification was pending. Even so, a massive air and ground search for Halversen was called off. Halversen went missing Wednesday, last being seen in the evening filling up at a Kwik Trip convenience store in Arcadia. The truck was found 150 miles north in Sawyer County.
