CAREYWOOD, Idaho – Charles Rexford Briska, of Careywood and formerly of Winona,, who owned the Something Olde and Something New, in Sandpoint, died age 76. He graduated from high school in Winona. After monastery in Nevada, he spent 25 years as a nursimg technican at Pacific State Hospital in Pomona, California. His legacy there was murals that brightened the hallways. Later, before moving to the Idaho Panhandle, owned yarn shops in Rancho Cucamonga and Wrightwood, California.
