ALEXANDRIA, Minn.  – Sobered up and hospitalized after a one-vehicle rollover, Hennepin County Sheriff David Hutchinson acknowledged an “inexcusable decision to drive after drinking.” In a public statement, he said he was deeply sorry. “As the chief ;aw enforcement officer in Hennepin County, I am held to a higher standard,” he said. “I regret the choice I made and apologize to the citizens I serve, the staff I work with, and the friends and family who support me.”
