STOCKTON, Minn. – This Winona County town is home to the mother of schoolteacher Tyler Jacob, who has been hauled off by Russian invaders into Ukraine. Jacob was last seen March 12 at at Armiansk, Crimea, 130 miles from the Ukraine area of Kherson, where he had been arrested without cause by Russian agents. He was then being bused with other foreign nationals to Russia-occupied Crimea. Jacob’s Ukrainian wife and daughter were not taken.
