ROCHESTER, Minn. – A Chatfield woman was ordered to one year in jail for attacking an ambulance medic who was trying to help her after she crashed drunk on her motorcycle 1-1/2 years ago. Tonia Louise Kruger, 52, was also placed on probation for seven years by Judge Kathy Wallace. The crash was near Dover in February 2021. Kruger became belligerent and spit on the ambulance medic and injured a deputy with a kick to the chest. The deputy quoted Kruger that she was “going to get a lawyer” and “kill you all.” A blood test showed 0.18% alcohol – 225% of acceptable for driving.
