UTICA, Minn. – A homemade 14-foot aluminum trailer was stolen from S&S Lumber south and west of Utica. Authorities were called about 8:30 a.m. The trailer, it seems, had been taken some time in the preceding eight days. It just hadn’t been missed. A padlock snicked with a bolt cutter had been left behind. The trailer will be easy to spot, the owner said: The spare tire is mounted on the tongue. The trailer was valued at $3,000. The S&S Lumber is at 27840 County Road 37.
