WINONA Minn. – Rochester poet Jean Prokott, winner of the Rezmerski Grand Prize from the League of Minnesota Poets, willread from her works Thursday at Winona State University. Prokott’s latest collections are “The Second Longest Day of the Year” and “The Birthday Effect.” The event: 7 p.m. at the science building. The event is part of the university’s Great River Writing Series.
