WINONA, Minn. – The blue pickup truck matched the the Walmart video of shoplifter’s vehicle 1-1/2 hours earlier. So police made the stop. The driver, William Curtis Perry, 31, of Winona, said that he had picked up a man with groceries outside Walmart but let him off. And police saw no Walmart groceries inside the truck. But in their routine check with the police dispatcher, the officers learned that there was an arrest warrant for Perry on a wholly different matter. .Then in a pocket they found a baggy with meth. He was arrested. This was abput 8:30 p.m. on Maceman Street 2-1/2 miles from Walmart.
