WINONA, Minn. — A 21-year-old Winona woman was arrested after attacking another woman, cutting her legs and yanking out her hair, and then throwing knives at her, police said. The physical violence began about 1:20 a.m., when the two women were being driven home in a pickup truck. The arrest was on the 350 residential block of West Fourth Street. Arrested was Teiko Marie Bomback. She was booked at the county jail while officers prepared paperwork for charges of second-degree assault. The victim suffered non-life-threatening cuts, police said. She declined an ambulance trip to the hospital. This is how police pieced together what happened: In the tussle in the pickup Bomback cut the victim’s legs and pulled out some of the victim’s hair. The driver stopped. Bomback ran into a house and came back with several knives and threw them at the victim. One knife pierced the victim’s leg.
