ST. PAUL, Minn. – As per custom for police-involved shootings, the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension has begun investigating the shooting of Kokou Fiafonou in Austin last week. The Bureau confirmed that Fiafonou died from multiple gunshot wounds. The Bureau said its report, when complete, would be provide to the Mower County attorney without a specific recommendation. It is the county attorney who would decide whether take any further steps.
